Deane Vanluven

Deane VanLuven is an experienced professional with a diverse background in software development and leadership roles. Deane is currently the Director of Software Engineering at Legrand, North America, a position they have held since 2023. Before that, Deane served as the Director of Software Development at Encelium from 2010 to 2020, where they led the design and development of various software releases. Prior to Encelium, they worked as an Independent Contractor at Nessis Inc, leading the development of an ASP.NET process management application. Deane also has managerial experience as the Manager of Product Development at MapInfo from 2006 to 2008 and as a Team Leader in Kernel Development at EISI from 2003 to 2006. Deane began their career at Corel Corporation, where they worked as a Project Lead from 1995 to 2002. Throughout their career, Deane has demonstrated expertise in software architecture, development management, and team leadership.

Deane VanLuven attended St. Lawrence College - Kingston from 1992 to 1995, studying Computer Engineering and Technology.
