Monique Snyder

Monique Snyder has a diverse range of work experience in the field of human resources. Monique is currently employed at Encepta as a Human Resources Manager, where they have been since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Human Resources Generalist at the same company since May 2021.

Before joining Encepta, Monique worked as an HR Generalist at Delta Controls Inc. for almost three years, from August 2018 to April 2021. Their role involved assisting the Director of Human Resources with various projects and initiatives, such as employee relations, recruitment, and onboarding.

Monique also gained experience at BC Plant Health Care as an HR Coordinator/Payroll Administrator from February 2017 to August 2018. In this role, they supported the management team with recruitment, onboarding, off-boarding, and payroll administration. Monique also provided guidance on employment-related matters and escalated employee relations issues.

As an HR Intern at Pretium Resources Inc., Monique supported the Human Resources department on various functions, including HR policies, recruitment, performance management, and employee relations. This internship took place in January 2017.

Monique started their career at Scotiabank as a Customer Representative, where they provided efficient and friendly customer service and performed various banking transactions for customers. Monique held this position from May 2013 to January 2017.

Prior to their HR career, Monique worked as an Administrative Assistant at Crawford Creek Lumber Co. Ltd. from April 2012 to May 2013. Their responsibilities included receptionist duties, handling accounts payable and receivable, and providing support to the president of the company.

Monique's earlier work experience includes roles as a Keyholder at Boathouse/Stance Stores from May 2011 to April 2012, and as a Receptionist at Chrysler Group LLC from September 2010 to May 2011.

Overall, Monique Snyder has built a strong foundation in human resources through their various roles and has a diverse range of skills and experiences in the field.

Monique Snyder attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University from 2010 to 2016, where they studied Human Resources Management and Services. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. In 2015, Monique also briefly attended Rotterdam Business School to further their knowledge in International Business and Languages.

In addition to their academic education, they obtained the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) certification from CPHR BC & Yukon in June 2020.
