Jorge Aguilar

Jorge Aguilar has a background in research and operations within the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Jorge is currently working as the Sr. Director of In Vivo Operations at Encoded Therapeutics Inc. since November 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Sr. Director of In Vivo Biology at AbbVie Stemcentrx, LLC from May 2016 to November 2019. Jorge also served as the Sr. Director of In Vivo Biology at Stemcentrx from May 2008 to November 2019. Before that, they were an Associate Manager at Animal Facility at OncoMed Pharmaceuticals from January 2005 to May 2008. Jorge started their career as a Research Associate at VA Medical Center, where they worked until 2004.

Jorge Aguilar pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience from UC San Diego, completing it during the period of 1999 to 2002.
