Maria Candida (Candy) Vila, PharmD, PhD has over 13 years of experience in various roles in the medical and scientific field. Maria Candida (Candy) Vila obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Immunology from The George Washington University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Prior to their Ph.D., they pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Public Health/Microbiology at The George Washington University from 2009 to 2012. Maria also holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree in Pharmacy, which they earned from USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2003 to 2007.
