Maureen Haines

Maureen Haines has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Maureen is currently serving as the Senior Director of MSAT and Manufacturing at Encoded Therapeutics Inc. since September 2021. Prior to this, they were the Director of MSAT and Manufacturing at the same company from February 2020 to September 2021. Before joining Encoded Therapeutics, Maureen worked at AveXis, Inc. as the Associate Director of Program Management and Strategy from January 2019 to January 2020, and as a Manufacturing Manager from October 2017 to December 2018. Maureen also has experience with Biogen, where they held positions such as Sr. Project Management Analyst I and Lead Manufacturing Support Associate. Additionally, Maureen has worked at Amgen as a Pilot Plant Associate and Manufacturing Associate, as well as at Merck as an Associate Manufacturing Supervisor. Maureen began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania Department of Sleep and Chronobiology and later held the same position at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Department of Orthopaedics.

Maureen Haines attended the University of Pennsylvania from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) degree. Their field of study was Bioengineering, and they also pursued a minor in Mathematics.
