Jason Jacintho

Jason Jacintho is a Senior Scientist in Chemistry at Encodia, Inc. since April 2021, specializing in the synthesis, bioconjugation, scale-up, and characterization of small molecules to support the Proteocode platform technology. Prior to this, Jason held multiple positions at Inception Sciences, Inc. from 2011 to 2019, where contributions to the synthesis and structure-activity relationship (SAR) of PPAR antagonists led to the discovery of TPST-1120, currently in clinical trials. Earlier experience at Metabasis Therapeutics from 2000 to 2009 involved the synthesis and design of T3 analogs, significantly optimizing the production process of the lead compound MB07811. Jason Jacintho holds a dual BS and BA in Chemistry and Art History from San Diego State University and an MS in Chemistry from UC San Diego.
