Donglai Zhang

Donglai Zhang is a seasoned software professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Platform Engineer at EncompaaS since January 2022, Donglai previously held positions as a Full Stack Developer at DXC Technology and Software Engineer at the Australian Bureau of Statistics, contributing to projects such as the Census 2021 Enumeration. Earlier roles include software development at the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure and at the National Centre for Vocational Education Research, where expertise in Java and related technologies was utilized. Donglai has also crafted software solutions at Employment Hero and enhanced academic programs as a Research Assistant and Associate Lecturer at the University of Adelaide. Educationally, Donglai obtained a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Computer Science from The University of Adelaide, where foundational research and technical skills were developed.
