Debbie Newman

Debbie Newman, PA-C, MPH, is an experienced addiction medicine provider currently employed at Encompass Community Services since May 2023. Prior to this, Debbie held various positions in addiction medicine and psychiatry, including serving as a Physician Associate for the First Judicial District Court/Adult Drug and Treatment Court from October 2017 to May 2023, and as a Treatment Provider for the Magistrate/DWI Court from April 2020 to May 2021. Additional roles include Regional Medical Director at Shadow Mountain Recovery Centers and Physician Assistant positions at The Mountain Center and Santa Fe Recovery Center, among others. Debbie holds a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Science from the University of St Francis and a Master's Degree in Public Health from Temple University, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in English with a focus on Science Writing from Penn State University.
