William Norteye

William oversees Encompass’s Adult Integrated Behavioral Health Outpatient programs, which include a full spectrum of trauma-informed, evidence-based mental health and substance use disorder services for adults.

William believes in creating a supportive environment for positive growth where all persons can become their truest self and achieve their full potential. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Jose State University and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Palo Alto University. He is also a registered member of the California Board of Behavior Sciences as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. He has been a key contributor to our Santa Cruz county community, serving in numerous roles as a clinician and clinical program manager in substance use disorder residential treatment services. William grew up in Accra, Ghana. He moved to Santa Cruz in 1997 where he currently resides with his family.
