Jason Batton

Jason Batton, MS-MIS, CISA has a diverse work experience in various roles related to risk management, compliance, and auditing. Jason is currently the Director of Risk and Compliance at Encompass Digital Media, Inc. Prior to this, they held multiple positions at Global Payments Inc., including Manager of Controls Assurance and Manager of Internal Audit Administration. Jason also worked as a Senior Information Technology Auditor at the same company. Before joining Global Payments Inc., they worked as an Experienced Associate at Aprio, where they focused on SOC 1 and SOC 2 reporting and PCI compliance. Jason also worked as an IT Advisory Associate at KPMG US, specializing in Oracle GRC and PeopleSoft. Their earlier experiences include positions at Florida State University as a Financial Associate and Finance and Administration Intern, as well as an internship at Mayo Clinic in finance and accounting. Overall, Jason's expertise spans risk management, compliance, internal audit, information technology auditing, and financial management.

Jason Batton has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management Information Systems and Project Management from the Florida State University - College of Business, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Management & Homeland Security from Florida State University from 2011 to 2014. Their undergraduate education was also at Florida State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Finance with a minor in Economics from 2006 to 2010. Jason Batton attended Allen D. Nease High School from 2002 to 2006. In addition, they hold several certifications including the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA, which they obtained in 2018. Jason also has various certificates in customer service, time & labor representation, HR department representation, and compliance and research administration training and education, all obtained from Florida State University from 2012 to 2013.
