Martins Lusis

Martins Lusis has a diverse background in the media industry. Martins is currently the Head of Content Operations and Problem Manager at Encompass Digital Media, Inc. since November 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Filmmaker at Martins Lusis Video, using their previous experience from working at MTG TV Latvia. Martins has also held various roles at Encompass Digital Media, Inc., including Head of Media Coordination and Change Manager in Riga from January 2018 to February 2022, and Media Operations Shift Manager in Riga from September 2015 to January 2018. Earlier in their career, Martins worked as an Ingest & Quality Control Operator at Modern Times Group MTG from August 2010 to September 2015, and as an Editor-in-chief at SIA "Image" from August 2007 to March 2010. Martins also had roles as Senior PR Manager and Board member at Student's Union of Latvia from April 2007 to August 2007, and as a Journalist at SIA "SK Latvia" for "NEXT" magazine from March 2007 to August 2007.

Martins Lusis attended Riga State Gymnasium No.1 from 2001 to 2006, where they completed their high school education. Martins then enrolled at Latvijas Universitate from 2008 to 2012 but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. In addition to their formal education, Martins also obtained several certifications, including PRINCE2® 6th Edition Foundation in Project Management from PeopleCert in 2022, Elements of AI from the University of Helsinki in 2021, and ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PeopleCert in 2018, among others.
