Dean Taggart

Dean Taggart is the current Inspector General for Internal Audit & Controls at Encompass Health. Dean has over 25 years of experience in the auditing and finance industry.

Dean started their career at KPMG in 1987 as a Supervising Senior before moving to MCH Transportation as CFO and VP of Finance in 1994. In 1998, they took on the role of Director of Internal Audit for both WorldCom and MCI. Dean then spent six years at HealthSouth from 2006 to 2012 as VP Audit and Controls before joining Encompass Health in their current role.

Dean Taggart has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Millsaps College, as well as a degree from Birkbeck, University of London. Dean also attended Oak Hill Academy.

Dean Taggart works with Andy Price - SVP, Chief Accounting Officer, Edmund Fay - SVP, Treasurer, and Crissy Carlisle - Chief Investor Relations Officer. Dean Taggart reports to Doug Coltharp, EVP, CFO.
