Shane Watts

Shane Watts is an experienced pharmacist with over 19 years in various leadership roles within pharmacy operations. Currently serving as an Informatics Pharmacist at Encompass Health since September 2011, Shane specializes in building, validating, and implementing electronic medical records (EMR) with a focus on the medication process. Prior to this role, Shane held multiple positions at HealthSouth, including Clinical Pharmacist, Regional Director of Pharmacy, and Director of Pharmacy Services, managing operations across numerous hospitals. Additionally, Shane served as Regional Director of Pharmacy for PharmaCare Services, overseeing pharmacy operations in Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado. Shane holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Houston and a Master of Business Administration from Lamar University.
