Rick Marks has over 30 years of work experience in various sales and marketing roles. Rick started their career in 1981 at The New York Times, where they held multiple positions in marketing, sales, and marketing services. Rick worked primarily in package goods, especially in the tobacco and liquor categories.

In 1995, Rick joined the New York Racing Association as the Advertising and Promotions Director, where they focused on driving attendance at their three tracks.
