Wilson Zhu

Wilson Zhu has extensive work experience in the field of automation engineering. Wilson started their career in 2003 as a Maintenance EIC Technician at Gordon Food Service and worked there until 2007. Wilson then joined Solaris MCI as a Control Systems Specialist from 2007 to 2011. Following that, they worked at Autopro Automation Consultants Ltd. as a Senior Control Systems Technologist from 2011 to 2014. Wilson then joined Raute Corporation as an Electrical Automation Project Engineer from 2014 to 2019. In 2019, they worked at KTC Industrial Engineering Ltd. as a Senior Electrical Automation Engineer from February to September. From September 2019 to December 2022, they worked at WSP in Canada as a Senior I&C/SCADA Engineer. Currently, they are working at enCompass Solutions Group as an Automation Engineer starting from March 2023.

Wilson Zhu completed their education in two different institutions. From 1987 to 1991, they attended Liaoning University of Petroleum and Chemical Technology and obtained a B.Eng degree in Computer and Automation Engineering. Later, from 2008 to 2013, they enrolled in the BTech Program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, majoring in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Additionally, Wilson Zhu has obtained several certifications, including Electrical - P.Eng. from Engineers and Geoscientists BC, Lead Instrumentation and Control Engineer from China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (SINOPEC), Software Engineer from Singtel, and Yokogawa DCS Engineer from Yokogawa.
