Dr Henry Balani

Dr Henry Balani's work experience includes various positions in different companies and institutions.

From 2019 to the present, they have been serving as the Global Head of Industry & Regulatory Affairs at Encompass Corporation. In this role, they advocate for Encompass and its regulatory technology solutions, raises the company's profile, and establishes industry expertise among regulators and trade groups. Dr Henry also previously held the position of Head of Delivery & Customer Success at Encompass, where they built a global team and improved customer satisfaction levels.

Prior to their work at Encompass, Dr Balani was an Adjunct Professor of Business at Northern Illinois University starting in 2018. Dr Henry also served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where they taught a program on financial integrity and banking compliance.

Dr. Henry Balani earned their Doctor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, specializing in Banking, Finance, and Economics. Dr Henry also obtained a CAMS certification in Anti Money Laundering from the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists and a PMP certification in Project Management from the Project Management Institute. Prior to that, they completed an Executive MBA program at Northern Illinois University, focusing on Business. Their undergraduate studies were at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where they received a BSC (Econ) degree in Economics and International Trade. Additionally, Dr. Balani holds additional certifications in areas such as workplace harassment and discrimination (from Syntrio) and systems architecture (from Pegasystems).
