Arthur Alglave

Arthur Alglave has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Arthur is currently working as a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Encord since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Microsoft as a Software Engineer in the Office Modernization Experiences (OMEX) team from February 2021 to November 2022. At Microsoft, they were involved in migrating and modernizing M365 add-ins services and creating new data pipelines for M365 user clean-up operations.

Before joining Microsoft, Arthur worked as a Software Engineer at Mendix from November 2019 to January 2021. At Mendix, they focused on developing backend services for Mendix Studio, a no-code web editor. Arthur also played a role in designing and implementing the model hosting service.

In addition, Arthur has experience as a Software Engineer at ParaPy, where they worked on the ParaPy platform to automate engineering tasks by creating parametric, geometry-based Python models. Arthur contributed to the core ParaPy library by adding GUI components and model snapshot functionalities.

Furthermore, Arthur gained valuable experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Fokker Technologies Holding B.V., Airbus, and AVL. Arthur also worked as a research assistant during an internship at Laboratoire plasma et conversion d'énergie (Laplace).

Arthur Alglave completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Fluid mechanics, physics and mathematics from ENSEEIHT between 2014 and 2016. Arthur'searlier education includes studying mathematics, physics, and engineering (PCSI/PSI*) at Jean Baptiste Say from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their academic qualifications, Arthur Alglave received a certification in CS50 from Harvard University in December 2020.
