Akhila Rao

Akhila Rao has extensive experience in various leadership and management roles. Akhila is currently the Chief Digital Officer at Encore Capital Group since 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Operations & Strategy at LendingClub from 2018 to 2019. From 2012 to 2018, they held multiple positions at LightStream, a Division of SunTrust Bank, including Senior Vice President of Strategy & Governance, Director of Operations, Product Manager, and Product Delivery Manager. Before that, they worked at ESET North America as the Director of Business Systems and ERP Manager. Akhila started their career at FirstAgain LLC as a Product Manager. Akhila also worked at USE Credit Union as a Project Analyst. Overall, Akhila has a strong background in strategy, operations, product management, and business systems.

Akhila Rao holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from San Diego State University. Akhila also obtained an Executive MBA from the same institution. In addition, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Lady Amritbai Daga College of Arts, Commerce & Science.
