Eloisa Orozco

Eloisa Orozco has extensive experience in corporate communications and public relations. Eloisa currently serves as the Director of Corporate Communications and ESG at Encore Capital Group, where they are responsible for strategic internal and external communications, brand reputation management, and social media strategy. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Manager of Corporate Communications at Encore, leading both internal and external communications efforts.

Before their time at Encore, Eloisa held various roles at Waste Management. Eloisa started as a Senior Manager of Area Communications, where they oversaw bilingual media relations, crisis management, and employee engagement. Eloisa then transitioned to a role focused on talent programs and culture communications, promoting employee engagement and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Eloisa also has experience in the nonprofit sector, having worked as the Executive Director of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) in San Diego County and as the Director of Special Programs at North County Health Services. In these roles, they managed operations, fundraising, stakeholder communications, and community outreach efforts.

Throughout their career, Eloisa has demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills, working closely with executives and cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals. Eloisa is bilingual, with experience in Spanish media relations and outreach. Eloisa Orozco holds a Master of Arts degree in Sociological Practice, which they obtained from California State University San Marcos from 2006 to 2009. Eloisa also received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, with a minor in Spanish, cum laude, from the same university from 1999 to 2004. Additionally, they have the certification of being "Dare to Lead Trained," obtained in 2022 from Dare to Lead™ Trained institution.
