Kyle Smith

Kyle Smith is an experienced legal professional with a strong background in corporate transactions and governance. Currently serving as Vice President of Global Corporate Transactions at Encore Capital Group since June 2015, Kyle has progressed through various titles in the company, including Senior Director and Director of Legal for Corporate Transactions and International. Prior experience includes roles as Corporate Counsel for M&A, Governance & Securities at Thermo Fisher Scientific and as an associate at Debevoise & Plimpton and Dechert LLP. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Dayton and a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.
