Michael Chin

Michael Chin has extensive work experience in legal and business affairs. Michael worked at Encore Capital Group from 2015 to the present, starting as a Senior Corporate Counsel and later progressing to Director and then Senior Director positions. Prior to Encore Capital, Michael took an extended travel break from 2013 to 2015. Michael began their legal career at Latham & Watkins in 2007 as an Associate, where they worked until 2013. Before that, Michael worked as a Senior Associate at Deloitte & Touche from 2000 to 2003.

Michael Chin earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Economics and Accounting from UC Santa Barbara in 2000. Michael then attended the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree with cum laude honors.
