Scott Goverman

Scott Goverman has extensive work experience in corporate development, treasury, and mergers & acquisitions. Scott was most recently the Managing Vice President of Corporate Development & Treasury at Encore Capital Group, a position they held since July 2018. Prior to that, they held several vice president roles at the same company, including Corporate Development & Treasury and Corporate Development Leader. Before joining Encore Capital Group, Scott served as the President of Paul Davis Restoration of Southern Riverside County from 2004 to 2009. Scott also worked as the VP of Mergers & Acquisitions at Science Applications International Corporation from 2001 to 2004, and as the Managing Director at Gateway Partners, Inc. from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, Scott founded and served as the President of Crosswinds Capital Group, LLC from 1995 to 1998. Scott started their career at Lehman Brothers, where they held roles as Senior Vice President in Merchant Banking and as an Associate in Risk Arbitrage from 1985 to 1995.

Scott Goverman has a BA in Economics from the University of Rochester and an MBA in Finance/Accounting from Columbia Business School.
