Andy Gordon

Andy Gordon is the Chief Operating Officer for Encore Electric. Known for his strong business acumen and use of advanced construction planning practices, Gordon delivers results, whether in business development, project management, vendor relations, or acting as a customer liaison.

As one of Encore Electric’s youngest leaders, Gordon is a hands-on leader who focuses his broad education and industry expertise in project direction and operations management to positively impact his customers. Inspired by a strong work ethic, he has successfully managed multiple large construction project teams, among them a major data center in Wyoming and the new Colorado State University stadium.

Gordon works with the Electrical Systems Student Club at Colorado State University to help prepare students for construction industry professions. He also volunteers with the Boys and Girls Clubs in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Weld County, Colorado.

Gordon is a graduate of Western Michigan University in Electrical Engineering and Michigan State University in Electrical, Electronic, and Communications Engineering. He earned his MBA in Business Administration from Colorado State University. In 2017, he was selected by the National Independent Electrical Contractors Association for their Emerging Leaders Award. He was also recognized as a member of the 2017 Class of Northern Colorado BizWest’s 40 Under Forty. He is a certified electrician.
