Jay Packard

Throughout his career, Jay Packard has looked for challenges. As Chief Strategy Officer, he understands and solves challenges for Encore Electric customers, while maintaining a close eye on costs throughout the project lifecycle. Over his 20-year career with Encore, he has developed a unique ability to find and deliver complex projects that utilize the best of Encore’s core talent and resources.

Packard built his reputation for excellence from the ground up, advancing from early estimator and field engineer roles to become senior preconstruction manager through demonstrated leadership. His knack for working with people shows in the results he has achieved on the Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital, Longmont United Hospital CUP & Emergency Department, Ralph L. Carr Judicial Complex, Denver Justice Center Courthouse, NCAR Wyoming Supercomputer Data Center, the University of Colorado at Boulder Center for Community and the GSA Invasive Species Research Building. This is what has led Packard to his current role.
