Director of Southern Colorado at Encore Electric

JR Bond directs Encore Electric’s Southern Colorado operations, where his deep-rooted familiarity with the region and ease in developing enduring client relationships have contributed to the company’s growth. As a member of the executive leadership team for Encore Electric, Bond guides the day-to-day operations and client development efforts for this region and manages a team of professionals. He also oversees general operations and financial reporting for the service and special projects departments, developed by the company in his region.

A member of the Encore Electric team since 2012, and also was previously with Riviera Electric starting in 1991. Bond rose through the ranks, launching his electrical contracting career as an apprentice, to foreman, and on to project management. Bond also worked in preconstruction and estimating before advancing to executive management roles. He has worked on more than 30 major projects across a range of sectors including manufacturing, medical, military, commercial and educational. Highlights include the U.S. Olympic Museum and Olympic Training Center Velodrome, Colorado Springs World Arena, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center Museum, Pikes Peak Hill Climb/Carriage House Museum at the Broadmoor, the University of Colorado at Colorado Spring Parking Structure and Recreation Field, and U.S. Air Force Academy Air Traffic Control Tower, SBIRS Facility at Schriever Air Force Base, Bal Seal Manufacturing Facility/Office Building and Oracle Office Building to name just a few.

Bond is a graduate of Northeastern Junior College earning an Associate’s Degree in Ag-Business.
