Katie Flotten Mendoza has extensive experience in human resources, primarily in the role of HR Director. Katie began their career as a Sr. HR Rep at Sybase, Inc. from November 2000 to August 2004, where they provided support to various departments and managed day-to-day HR tasks for a global client group. From February 2005 to April 2011, Katie worked at CPP, Inc. as an HR Director, advising managers on employment laws, training employees on company policies, and coaching managers during the performance evaluation process. Katie then served as the HR Director at Bishop-Wisecarver Corporation from April 2011 to October 2014. Currently, they hold the position of HR Director at Encore! Glass, starting in October 2014.
From 1997 to 1999, Katie Flotten Mendoza attended the University of California, Davis, where they pursued a degree in English, specifically focusing on English Literature.

Founded in 1975 as a sterilizer and recycler of wine bottles, the word Encore originates from Environmental Container Reuse. As demand increased, we transitioned out of sterilization and into distribution of newly manufactured bottles. We have grown from 19 employees and less than 20,000 square feet in 2005 to over 60 full-time employees and over 300,000 square feet of warehouse space in 2013. Over that same period we have expanded our purchasing from a single glass factory to partnering today with two North American and two Chinese wine bottle manufacturers in addition to sourcing premium imports from France and Italy.
