Mark Flax

Mark Flax is an accomplished leader in information security and infrastructure with extensive experience in telecommunications, incident management, and network operations. Currently serving as Vice President of Information Security & Infrastructure at Encore since January 2017, Mark has successfully developed a Cyber Security Incident Response Plan and managed a significant telecommunication cost reduction initiative. Prior to this role, Mark held multiple positions at United Airlines where responsibilities included improving incident management processes and significantly reducing operational costs. Mark's career also includes valuable experience at Allstate Insurance, where leadership in network operations and UNIX platform engineering led to considerable efficiency improvements and cost savings. Mark holds a degree from The University of Kansas, obtained between 1993 and 1998.
