Carlie Smith

Carlie Smith has a diverse work experience in the field of athletic training. Carlie is currently working as the Head Athletic Trainer at Encore Rehabilitation, Inc. since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at LCMC Health as the Head Athletic Trainer from June 2020 to March 2021. In 2019, Carlie served as a Manager at Varsity Spirit, where they provided immediate first aid and managed the administration and logistics of each camp. Carlie also worked as an Athletic Training Student at The University of Southern Mississippi from January 2018 to June 2020.

Carlie Smith completed their education at The University of West Alabama, where they obtained a Master of Education degree in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they attended The University of Southern Mississippi from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training/Trainer.

In addition to their formal education, Carlie also obtained several certifications. Carlie became a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) through the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer in July 2020. Furthermore, in February 2020, they obtained certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED from the American Heart Association.
