John Stallsmith has a strong background in infrastructure services and networking. John started their career as a Network Engineer at Caterpillar in 1997 and worked there until 2002. John then joined LRS as a Senior Network Consultant from 2002 to 2004. Stallsmith then worked at Siemens IT Solutions from 2004 to 2009, where they held the role of Network Architect III / Functional Manager IV. John joined Presidio in 2009 as a Practice Manager, overseeing the collaboration professional services engineering team for the Great Lakes Territory. Stallsmith remained at Presidio until 2016 and then joined Encore Technologies as the Vice President of Infrastructure Services, where they currently manage a large organization comprising multiple technical teams.
John Stallsmith attended Purdue University from 1992 to 1996 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management, with a focus on Management Information Systems. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications over the years. In 2002, they became a Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP Routing and Switching), a Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP), and also acquired the Cisco Certified Networking Professional - Enterprise certification. In 2004, they achieved the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Enterprise Infrastructure (CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure) certification, and in 2007, they attained the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Collaboration (CCIE Collaboration) certification. More recently, in 2020, John obtained the Aviatrix Certified Engineer - Multi-Cloud Network Associate certification. In 2023, they obtained the Webex Contact Center Sales certification from Webex.
