Richard Paxton

Richard Paxton has over 30 years of work experience. Richard started their career in 1991 as a Network Architect at MarketWare, where they designed LAN solutions and installed and supported server systems. Richard then worked as a Systems Engineer at Cheyenne Software, providing technical sales and support services to Fortune 500 companies.

In 1997, they joined Ark Research as a Systems Engineer, providing field support and technical assistance to sales and reseller organizations. Richard then worked at LSI Corporation as an Application Technologist, where they designed software solutions for VMware products and implemented SANs and remote monitoring systems for storage.

From 2011 to 2016, Richard worked at NetApp as a Technical Marketing Engineer, designing custom storage applications and serving as a technical liaison for internal and external development companies. Richard also acted as a technical manager for VMware's Site Recovery Manager SRA development and certification.

Currently, Richard is employed as a Sr. DevOps Engineer at Encore Technologies, where they develop custom IaaS solutions for clients, conducts on-site discovery of client environments, and develops and tests Ansible playbooks for system deployments.

Richard Paxton attended Cincinnati State Technical and Community College from 1989 to 1991. During their time there, they pursued a degree in Electronics and graduated with a degree in EET.
