David Hewitt

David Hewitt has a diverse background in engineering and education. With a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego, David has worked in various roles in industries such as aerospace and investment casting. Currently serving as a Physics, Engineering, and Math Teacher at Union Mine High School and an Encorps Fellow with the EnCorps STEM Teachers Program, David brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the field of education. Prior to their teaching roles, David held positions such as Program Manager at Aerojet Rocketdyne and Engineering Manager/Chief Engineer at GSC Foundries. David's dedication to both engineering and teaching makes him a valuable asset in the education and STEM fields.
