Elix Colon is a User Experience Researcher at Encoura since July 2022, focusing on qualitative user research, data analysis, and advocacy for research findings. Elix has extensive academic experience as a PhD candidate in Anthropology at Stanford University since 2015, serving as a Teaching Assistant and mentoring in the Ernest Houston Johnson Scholars (EHJS) 2.0 Program since 2016. Past roles include Graduate Student Coordinator at the Stanford Humanities Center, where coordination of research workshops took place, and UX Researcher at Google from 2021 to 2022. Earlier positions include research assistant roles at Rutgers University, UMass Boston, and involvement in the Fulbright Program as an English Teaching Assistant. Elix holds a Master's degree from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in American Studies and History from Rutgers University.
