Deborah Kenney

Deborah Kenney has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Deborah currently holds the position of Director of Claims Product & Operations at Encova Insurance, a role they have held since January 2024. Prior to this, they were the Director of Claims Operational Excellence at Encova Insurance from September 2015.

Before joining Encova Insurance, Deborah worked at Motorists Insurance Group for ten years. Their roles at Motorists Insurance Group include Managing Consultant, Sr. from May 2011 to September 2015, Sr. Training Consultant from June 2007 to May 2011, Staff Attorney from January 2007 to June 2007, and Training Specialist from November 2005 to January 2007.

Deborah also served as the Dean of Legal Studies/Instructor at THE ACADEMY, LEGAL INSTITUTE from January 2005 to September 2005. Additionally, they worked at Meyer Darragh Buckler Bebenek & Eck as an Associate Attorney from August 2001 to September 2002 and as a Summer Associate/Law Clerk from May 2000 to August 2001.

Deborah began their career at Nationwide Insurance as a Litigation Claims Professional from February 1995 to May 2000.

Deborah Kenney has a diverse education history. Deborah obtained a J.D. degree in Law from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University in the period between 1997 and 2001. Deborah also holds a M.Ed. degree in Corporate Training & Knowledge Management from Jones International University, which they completed between 2007 and 2010. In 2003-2004, they pursued a postgraduate diploma in Conflict and Dispute Resolution Studies from Trinity College Dublin. Furthermore, Deborah earned a certification as a Certified Coach from the Coach Training Alliance in 2015. Deborah also holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh, although the years of their attendance are unspecified. Additionally, they have obtained certifications as an EACOE Certified Enterprise Architect from the Enterprise Architecture Center Of Excellence in January 2016, and as a CTA Certified Coach from the Coach Training Alliance.
