Tony Deangelo

Tony DeAngelo has over 25 years of experience in various roles related to information security and insurance. Tony currently serves as the VP and Chief Information Security Officer at Encova Insurance since October 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Assistant Vice President of Information Security at Encova Insurance from July 2019 to October 2021. Tony also serves as a Board Member on the Navigators Customer Advisory Board at CyberArk since September 2021. Before joining Encova Insurance, they worked at Motorists Insurance Group in multiple roles including Assistant Vice President, Director, Information Security Services Manager, Data Security Manager, and Sr. Security Specialist. Tony started their career as a Security Administrator at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP and also worked as a Marketing Representative at Micro Center Corporate Sales.

Tony DeAngelo has a Master of Science in Information Assurance (MSIA) from Norwich University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Marketing Management from The University of Toledo from 1988 to 1994. Additionally, Tony has several certifications, including EACOE Enterprise Architect, Certified CISO (C|CISO), CISSP, and Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH).
