Yvette McGee Brown is a prominent legal professional and corporate leader with extensive experience in diversity and governance. Currently serving on the Board of Directors and as Audit Committee Chair at The Jeffrey Company, Yvette has also held significant roles as Partner-in-Charge of Diversity at Jones Day and as a board member at Encova Insurance, where responsibilities include chairing the Governance Committee and vice-chairing the Audit Committee. Notably, Yvette made history as the first Black woman appointed to the Ohio Supreme Court and as the first Black woman elected to the Franklin County Common Pleas Court. Additionally, Yvette was the founding President of the Center for Child and Family Advocacy, establishing vital resources for children facing abuse. Yvette holds a Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in journalism from Ohio University.
