Prashant Patil

Prashant Patil, PhD, serves as the Founder, President, and CEO of Micromize, Inc., where the focus is on developing miniaturized electronics for wearable devices since October 2021. In addition, Prashant is a Co-Founder and Advisor at Atomic Machines, contributing expertise in technology and patent advising while also holding the positions of Co-Founder, Board Director, and CTO at the same company, which is commercializing a novel MEMS device. Other advisory roles include positions at EnCube Labs, which fosters innovation and entrepreneurship, and Unstructured Studio, which promotes creative learning for under-served children. Prashant was also a Founding Team Member & Advisor for the MIT Media Lab India Initiative, aimed at fostering collaboration among creators in India, and worked as a Visiting Scientist at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology, focusing on phosphor nanomaterials. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MS in Micro-electromechanical Systems and Nanotechnology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a BTech in Engineering Physics and Nanoscience from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
