Amr El Abd

Amr El Abd serves as the Regional Managing Director for the Middle East & Africa at Endeavor since December 2023, after holding the position of Chief Executive Officer at Endeavor Egypt starting in June 2022. With a strong background in fostering entrepreneurial ecosystems, El Abd has been a consultant at The World Bank since February 2020, focusing on the establishment of a fund of funds program in Egypt. Previously, El Abd was a Managing Partner at Sequence V and served as CEO at Egypt Ventures, where efforts concentrated on empowering the entrepreneurial landscape through targeted investments. El Abd's entrepreneurial journey began with the founding of Soorabook.com and extends to leadership roles in multiple organizations, including Insight Management Training and the Entrepreneur Business Forum-Egypt. A graduate of Georgetown University with a B.A. in Economics, El Abd has consistently demonstrated a commitment to enhancing economic competitiveness and fostering innovation in the region.
