Freddy Vega

Freddy Vega is the CEO of Platzi, a platform dedicated to effective online education in design, marketing, and technology since January 2014. Additionally, Freddy serves on the Board of Directors for the GitLab Foundation and is recognized as an Endeavor Entrepreneur, having participated in the 64th International Selection Panel in Madrid in 2016. Previously, Freddy held the position of Director at the Advisory Board for iNNpulsa Colombia, an investment fund aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in Colombia. As the founder of Cristalab, one of the largest web design and development communities in Latin America, and former CTO of Mejorando.la, Freddy has a strong background in tech education and development. Freddy has also contributed to academia as a teacher at Universidad Piloto de Colombia. Freddy's educational background includes degrees from prestigious institutions such as Y Combinator, Stanford University, Harvard Business School, and INSEAD, as well as engineering studies at Universidad Nacional de Colombia and Universidad Piloto de Colombia.
