Alex Murkett

Alex Murkett has a diverse work experience in finance and auditing. They started their career as an Assistant Accountant at Murketts of Cambridge in 2007, where they gained experience in various financial activities. From there, they worked at Deloitte as an Audit Associate, specializing in structured audit testing. They then joined Grant Thornton UK LLP as an Audit & Assurance Senior, managing teams and reviewing the work of junior staff. In 2014, they became the Group Internal Auditor at Marshall Motor Holdings plc, reporting to the Head of Internal Audit and overseeing core activities of the Motor Group. They later worked at Jardine Motors Group trading as Lancaster as a Dealership Accountant and at Marshall Motor Group as a Multi-Franchise Accountant responsible for reporting and producing management accounts. Currently, they hold the position of Group Finance Director at Endeavour Automotive Ltd.

Alex Murkett attended the University of Southampton from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Management Science. From 2010 to 2014, Alex studied at ICAEW, completing the ACA qualification.
