Elie Gakuba

Elie GAKUBA is a seasoned technical leader with extensive experience in machine learning engineering, data access, integration, and AI solutions. Currently serving as Technical Lead MLE/MLOps at Endeavour Group, GAKUBA leads the development of machine learning models for demand forecasting and pricing optimization. Prior roles at Woolworths Group included Tech Lead positions focused on data integration, AI engineering, and digital technology, where Elie standardized data access and deployed machine learning solutions. GAKUBA has a background in software engineering and IT leadership roles at various companies, including Cabcharge Australia Limited and the Rwanda Social Security Board. GAKUBA holds a postgraduate diploma in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence from Columbia Engineering and a Master of Medical Science in Medical Informatics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
