Dr. Abdoul Karim Kabèlè Camara has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Dr. Abdoul Karim currently serves as the Director of Legal Affairs West Africa at Endeavour Mining Corporation, where they manage the company's legal affairs in the region. Prior to this, they worked as a Legal Counsel at African Legal Support Facility from 2018 to 2021. Dr. Abdoul Karim also served as the African Mining Legislation Atlas Project coordinator & Legal Counsel at African Legal Support Facility - African Development Bank from 2015 to 2018. Dr. Abdoul Karim Kabèlè Camara obtained their Ph.D. in Mineral Law and Policy from the University of Dundee in Scotland, United Kingdom, between 2012 and 2017. Prior to that, they completed an LLM in Petroleum Taxation and Finance at the University of Dundee from 2011 to 2012, and an LLM in Mineral Law and Policy from the same university from 2010 to 2011. Dr. Abdoul Karim also earned an LLM in African Business Community Law from the Institute of African Business Community Law at the University of Bouake in 2009 and 2010. Additionally, they completed English certificates in English as a Second Language (ESL) at the University of Texas in 2008 and 2009. Earlier in their education, Dr. Kabèlè Camara obtained an LLM (Diplome d' Etude Approfondie - DEA) in Private Law from the University of Cheikh Anta Diop in Senegal in 2005 and a LLB (Hons) in International Business/Trade/Commerce from the University of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso from 2000 to 2005.
