Mickael Mauger

Mickael Mauger has extensive work experience in the field of engineering. Mickael currently holds the position of Director of Engineering at GridBlock, a company focused on developing zero carbon EV charging infrastructure. Prior to this, they also served as Director of Engineering at GridBlock, an ENDEAVOUR company, where they worked towards making clean water and renewable energy more accessible. Additionally, Mickael has experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they worked on the development of soft-switching solid-state transformers and grid-connected power electronics. Mickael has also completed internships at Thales and CERN, where they worked on the design and analysis of power converters for avionics systems and particle accelerators respectively. Finally, they completed an internship at Laboratoire LAPLACE, INPT-UPS-CNRS, where they focused on characterizing power semiconductor losses.

Mickael MAUGER holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a specialization in Power Electronics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the same institution from 2015 to 2016. Mickael also holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (Ingénieur diplômé) with a focus on Power Electronics from ENSEEIHT, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015. Mickael MAUGER completed their Classe préparatoire aux grandes écoles at Lycée Pierre de Fermat, Toulouse, from 2010 to 2012. Mickael graduated with a Baccalauréat Scientifique, with High Honors, from Lycée Pardailhan (Auch) in 2010.
