Tylar Banta

Tylar Banta is currently an intern at Endiatx, where responsibilities include designing a robotic pill for visual examinations of the digestive system. Banta is also an undergraduate student researcher at UC Berkeley's Harland Lab since September 2022 and previously served as a biology intern at Colossal Biosciences, assisting in genome engineering and cell culture. Prior experience includes a brief stint as a developmental biology trainee at UC Berkeley's Harland Lab in March 2022, where foundational lab techniques were acquired, and as an office aid at Triad/Holmes Associates, focusing on organizational tasks and communication skills. Tylar Banta is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Microbial Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, expected to graduate in June 2025, following completion of education at Bishop Union High School in 2021.
