Matthew Trusler

Matthew Trusler is an Associate Product Development Engineer at Endomag since August 2022, with prior experience as a Biomedical Design Engineer at Southern Medical, where product design and development focused on cranial and craniomaxillofacial implants. Matthew also completed a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, where a notable project involved managing the design and production of face shield PPE technology under the SAHPRA approval. Additional experience includes developing a novel orthopaedic PCL knee brace and conducting clinical trials during tenure as a Design Engineer for Pangolin PCL Brace. Previous roles include tutoring mathematics and physics, consulting on mechanical engineering projects, and gaining practical experience as a vacation student in various engineering capacities. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
