Nic LaBuz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Case Western Reserve University in 2003. They then joined Northcoast Business Systems as a Team Leader in the Workflow Solutions Group, where they worked from 2004 to 2007. Following this, they became the Vice President of Sales at Specialized Business Software for two years.
In 2009, Nic joined Autonomy as an Enterprise Account Executive and stayed with the company until 2011. They then joined Symantec as a Sales Specialist, specializing in Archiving and eDiscovery Solutions, and worked there until 2012.
Nic's experience in the technology industry grew as they joined Box in 2012. They initially served as a National Account Executive, supporting large enterprises in Ohio in providing integrated collaboration tools and cloud services. They were later promoted to Strategic Account Executive, focusing on enabling secure access to content and collaboration tools in a mobile-first, cloud-first world. Nic served at Box until 2017.
From 2017 to 2018, Nic worked as a Regional Sales Manager for RedLock (acquired by Palo Alto Networks). They were responsible for securing new clients for the cloud security platform.
Nic then transitioned to Palo Alto Networks, where they held various roles. They first served as a Technical Sales Manager for Prisma Cloud, helping companies secure cloud platforms. They then became a District Sales Manager - Prisma Cloud Strategics, leading sales efforts in Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
Currently, Nic is the Vice President of Sales at Endor Labs, a company that provides a comprehensive understanding of how organizations use open-source software and helps prioritize vulnerability remediation.
Nic LaBuz attended Cardinal Ritter High School from 1996 to 2000. From 2000 to 2004, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Management at Case Western Reserve University.
