Jennifer McMahon

Board Member at Endotronix

Jennifer McMahon is a Principal at European venture capital firm, Seroba Life Sciences. She is based in the Seroba office in Dublin and is involved in both medtech and biotech deal origination and investments. After graduating from University College Dublin with an honors degree in Pharmacology in 2010, Jennifer entered a Master’s degree program in Biotechnology and Business to further her interest in the interface of biomedical science with commercialization. Having placed first in her Master’s degree in 2011, Ms. McMahon then joined Seroba’s Investment Team as an Investment Analyst.

In 2019 Jennifer completed her Diploma in Company Direction, accredited by the Institute of Directors Ireland & UK. She represents Seroba on the board of Endotronix and Shorla Pharma (Observer). She was previously on the board of directors of Biosensia, prior to it merging with Kypha Diagnostics (2018) and was observer on the Atlantic Therapeutics board and managed the fund’s investment in Labcyte prior to its acquisition by Beckman Coulter (2019). Ms. McMahon was a Dublin-hub Ambassador of the Sandbox network, a global community for ‘exceptional innovators’ from 2015 – 2017. In October 2015, Ms. McMahon was recognized as one of Ireland’s ‘Top 30 Under 30’, shaping the future of business in the country. In 2019, Jennifer joined the Advisory Board for the European Healthcare Businesswoman’s Association (HBA) and in 2019 she was a founding member of the Level20 Ireland Chapter, an international organization promoting women in private equity. She guest-lectures on venture capital at University College Dublin, Trinity College Dublin and the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland.
