Simon Hiendl

Simon Hiendl is currently a Production Process Engineer at Endress+Hauser Gruppe, a position held since March 2024. Prior to this, Simon completed a Master's thesis at Voith Group focusing on the standardization and optimization of workflows in machining production, and served as a part-time technician in heating, sanitation, and solar technology at Installations- und Heizungsbaubetrieb from September 2016 to March 2023. Simon also conducted a Bachelor’s thesis in collaboration with Hochschule München on redesigning a pressure-cast component for additive manufacturing during a tenure at iwis in 2021. Early career experience includes positions as a precision mechanic and a technical assembly technician at DEKUgroup from February 2011 to August 2015, and an apprenticeship as a precision mechanic at Vertec GmbH from 2007 to 2011. Simon's educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Mechatronics from Hochschule München, a Bachelor of Science in Business Sciences from FernUniversität in Hagen, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics/Precision Engineering from Hochschule München.
