Mike Mitchell CSWP has extensive experience in product development within the building materials industry. Currently serving as a Senior Product Development Engineer at Endura Products, Inc. since August 2007, Mike specializes in designing and developing door framing components, sills, and astragal products, holding nine patents with additional patents pending. Previously, Mike worked at Weather Shield Mfg. Co., Inc. as a Senior Product Engineer for a decade, focusing on the design of wood, vinyl, and aluminum-clad wood windows and earning two patents for innovations in window hardware. As a Senior Engineer at Season Shield, Inc., Mike supervised the product development team while managing certification projects, and at PGT Industries, contributed to the design of aluminum framed windows and doors, particularly impact-resistant products.
