Doug Neilsen

Doug Neilsen has a diverse and extensive work history. Doug started their career in 2005 as a General Accountant at RB&W Manufacturing, where they established financial reporting and developed absorption reporting. Doug then worked as a Financial Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, where they facilitated interbank transactions and audited expense reports.

In 2008, Doug joined Americhem as a General Accountant, supporting executive leaders in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. Doug also designed and automated reports for performance evaluation.

Doug transitioned to General Aluminum Mfg. Company in 2011 as a Plant Controller, overseeing the full P&L of the plant and conducting time and cost studies. Doug then joined The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company as a Senior Accountant and later became a Team Lead, managing AR/Intercompany Billing.

From 2015 to 2021, Doug worked at Area Wide Protective (AWP) as a Corporate Controller and later as Vice President Finance. In these roles, they improved profitability, managed company financials during a CFO absence, and contributed value-driven recommendations for strategic direction.

Most recently, Doug worked as Vice President of Finance at Enthusiast Auto Holdings before joining their current position as VP of Finance at Endurance in 2022.

Doug Neilsen earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The University of Akron. Doug attended the university from 1999 to 2005. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Management, from Cleveland State University. This program spanned from 2007 to 2009.
