Peter Wijnen

Peter Wijnen has a diverse work experience in the solar industry and display technologies.

Starting in 1992, they worked as a Research Assistant at Philips Research Laboratories, where they researched alternative liquid crystal materials for video applications in LCD displays.

From 1994 to 2002, Peter held multiple roles within Philips Mobile Display Systems, including Application Engineer, Process Development Engineer, and Group Leader Display Design. In these roles, they focused on developing and manufacturing displays for automotive and telecom industries, managing design activities, and leading projects in coating technologies.

In 2004, Peter worked as a Development Engineer at Philips PolyLED, where they optimized the deposition process for organic LEDs in preparation for mass production.

From 2005 to 2012, Peter served as a Project Leader in the R&D department of Solland Solar BV, overseeing successful projects in solar cell and panel manufacturing using novel back contact technology.

Peter then joined DSM Innovation Centre in 2012 and held two key roles: Senior Application Technology Specialist and Group Leader Application Technology Development. Their responsibilities included developing coating technologies for solar applications, managing the application development group, and supporting business growth through technical communications with customers/partners.

Currently, Peter is the Commercial Manager Europe at Endurans™ Solar, where they are responsible for managing commercial operations and expansion in the European market.

Overall, Peter Wijnen's work experience spans research, development, project management, and commercial roles across the solar and display technology sectors.

Peter Wijnen attended Zuyd Hogeschool | Zuyd University of Applied Sciences from 1988 to 1992. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics.
